Scripture: John 1:15-17
Topic: “Year of Grace Multiplied!”
The law was given by Moses but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
We are closing the year 2025 out where we began it. We started the year with Grace Multiplied.
We can’t work to obtain Grace. Many of us received favor that we did not deserved. Grace is unmerited favor.
We saw favor over and over again in our lives; we saw growth in our children and in our homes.
Yes there were hard days and we had hard times, but the favor of God prevailed!
We have continued to proclaim Jesus! The favor of God sustained us.
Grace was in your house this year. Grace was seen throughout the year!
Grace has been freely given by God all throughout this year.
II Cor. 12:9-“My Grace is sufficient for thee! My strength is made perfect in weakness.
His Grace is sufficient! When you don’t feel strong enough, His Grace is sufficient.
Sometimes you may mess up but God I give my mess ups to you.
His Grace is able to keep you when you feel as if you can’t be kept.
1 Cor. 15:10- By God’s Grace I am what I am!
By his Grace means that I have messed up.
God has chiseled me! He has broken me sometimes. But by His Grace, he fixed me that I may be what I am and who I am today.
Grace bestowed upon you was not in vain.
Understand, it is not by your might, but by His might that you are who you are.
You can only be who God called you to be.
See the world the way God sees the world. See that the world is not lost. Jesus came that you might have life! You are not in a dead place.
Start enjoying life. You don’t have to be perfect but keep God first.
Five Characteristics of Grace
Generosity -the will to do more for others. Always be generous and push to help others that you may reap your blessings.
Respect- recognize who you are so that you can recognize others. Until you know yourself you cannot recognize who you are. Show respect one to another.
Action- Look at Life as a gift that will reward you for your actions. Take action and make changes. Call in more favors; concentrate more; seek God more; Make the transition.
Compassion- be concerned for others. No one is perfect. You don’t have to understand to be compassionate.
Energy-translating what we want to do into what we actually do. Stay in the fight. Keep the energy in who God is! Keep the energy in worshipping Him in all that you do!
His Grace is sufficient! Grace multiplied and as we leave 2025:
Give more Generosity.
Give more Respect!
Give more Actions!
Give more Compassion!
Give more Energy!
