Sunday Morning Tidbits - September 21, 2025 -Pastor Chelle
Scripture: Acts 27:1-11;19-29;37-39
Topic:”The Lord Will Make a Way!”
Lots of time in transformation, we are too busy holding on to what used to be.
We will ever understand how things are going to work until you try to see if you like it.
There are benefits in being a child of God and that is that God provides.
Paul was the one who killed Christians, now he is preaching to them.
Some things we think are fun have a way of backfiring. It doesn’t aways work well.
When you became a Christian, God did not take away your ability to have fun. What He did take away was the consequences of your bad decision. You can still enjoy life!
For God I live and for God I die!
Speak God’s word of existence for your life what He said in his word.
Walk in your healing! Walk in your victory! Walk in your peace! Love, joy and understanding.
Don’t stress the small stuff! Don’t stress about stuff that doesn’t make any differences.
Live your life in God! What is going on right now has nothing to do to keep you in a ruckus when you walk in Victory in God.
You must get to the point of trusting God! He knows your heart!
Be encouraged. We sometimes go through things but we don’t have to worry because we are in God!
Paul’s voyage- he’s been shipwrecked and beaten and in prison.
Paul brought Christianity to Rome. He had just finish a fast. He perceived that the voyage would be in much danger for the ship and their lives. He was a prisoner on this ship trying to get to his destination when he told them to wait because the weather was crazy. They didn’t listen.
Who is it in your life who is trying to tell you where to go and you are not listening? Navigate life through the word of God.
He has an assignment for you! What is it that God wants you to do that the enemy is keeping you from doing.
What is your assignment?
Does what the are telling you falls within God’s word?
There are some situations that people are trying to put you in that you don’t need to be in. You know it and you see it.
They got to the point on the ship that they had to start throwing things off according to verse 19.
God may tell you not to go a place or do a thing; yet, you decide to do what you want to and now you have to start abandoning things that you need because you did it your way.
If God says it’s going to happen; He will rearrange the whole situation and turn it around for your good. God told Paul to go to Caesar.
Stand on God! Paul told them that because he was on the ship that it would be okay.
Do you walk in the victory that God has given you? Know who you are in Christ! Know that you are of royalty.
Stop stressing about stuff that you have no control over. God will provide!
Paul told them on day one not to get on the boat. On day three, they started throwing stuff off the boat. Fourteen days later, in the light of day, they had to abandon things that they depended on.
Now they wanted to listen and stay on the boat. At one point you must learn to sit still, drop anchor and let God work it out!
Except you abide in the ship, you cannot be saved! Then the solders cut the ropes off and they awaited for the light of day. Daylight came and God showed them there destination.
God will make your enemies your footstool.
Whenever you have to sit and wait on God; He has already provided the way.
In daylight God needs you to be able to navigate.
No matter what it looks like, God will see you through your transformation.
There’s a destination that God wants to move you to; but you have to take up the anchors and move and shift that way!
Let go and let God and start trying to move where He is directing you to go.
There is a transformation that is happening right now! The waters were coming in two different directions. Will you stay or will you go? Now you are at a crossroads.
The prisoners started swimming. Some held on to the broken pieces. They all escaped off boat to land safely.
It wasn’t in the chaos or the tribulations when things happened; it was at the crossroads when they had to let go of the boat and follow where God called you to go. They didn’t abandoned the boat!
Don’t let go of God’s word! Don’t let go of prayer! Don’t let go of Bible Study. These are all things that help you find strength. God will provide!
Stay on the boat no matter what. Hold on because this is where your strength lies!
If all you have is that one scripture in your heart; hold on to it and used it when you need it.
The word of God is your piece of that ship to hold on to.
It will keep you and take you through the week; if you are holding on to that piece then you don’t have to fight to get to church on Sunday. You will be prayed up and ready!
Believe that God’s word is true!
Stay ready and you don’t have to get ready!
